One of my customers was doing some home renovations and found some old brandy; decided to give it to me. Here's what I know: It was bottled in 1976, and it's sealed, which is a plus. Doesn't seem to have evaporated much, if at all. There does seem to be a few little floaters on the bottom (looks like cork). Otherwise, I'll probably try the stuff. Hard liquor like this seems to last well in the bottle. Does anyone have any info on the brand? A Google search didn't net me much, except that the brand still exists today and is VERY cheap to buy. And I apologize for the pictures being sideways; the BITOG image uploader turned them.

It won't taste much different than it did when it was bottled. After being bottled, brandy doesn't age any further, and there are no flavor improvements. All of the maturation is done in wood casks. If it was a good brandy when it was bottled, it will probably still be a good brandy. If it was a cheap brandy when it was bottled it will still be a cheap brandy.
