Warren brand oil New oil smell (Different)

" New OA"-smell tests........................

Now I have seen it all on BITOG..........................

I like my motor oil to smell kinda warm with a very slight soft musky fragrance..

Oil connoisseur gently shakes the oil around, gets a sniff, then a little taste before announcing that it's a 10w40 made by Havoline. No one is impressed until he says made by Texaco, not Chevron.

VOA should test for presence of Old Spice. Less expensive than other colognes to blend with. It will also increase Old Spice revenue and may be a win-win situation.

I have noticed all 3 smell the same, different/stronger oil smell than castrol/penzoil/mobil 1/Q.S. synthetics.
Not that I sniff oil but when you pour it the smell does hit you, so I smelled them all to compare.
Any ideas why ?
Add packs ? not refined as much ? Less syn oil ?
I don't have any non-syn oil to compare it too.

Ha, didn't you know that Super Tech is the "mystery oil?"

Quick look at the MSDS for Super Tech 10W-30:

"4.75312% of the mixture consists of ingredient(s) of unknown toxicity"
3rd Party %: 5.14395, 3rd Party %: 0.606001 Proprietary 3 - 7 *
>> *The exact percentage (concentration) of composition has been withheld as a trade secret

Super Tech doesn't consider six significant figures as exact!

The mystery gets deeper!
