I'd say so if the 15 mile drive allows you get to speed.
If it's stop light to stop light, don't know.
With my Corolla, If I drive around town, it never gets to a normal temp when it's cold outside Like we have had the past week. Once I take it on the freeway, even for 5 miles, its up to normal right away.
In extremely cold weather that 15 mile drive might not be quite enough though. The oil might just get up to 180F by about that point, and ideally you'd like to drive another 5 miles or more after you've hit 180F.
You really need an oil temperature gauge to know for sure though, since every engine and every driving situation will be different.
