Wal-Mart WF-20 Oil Filter

So, I went shopping with the wife not expecting to find anything, but i did. Google lens said it appeared to be an older Wix, so I figured I would share with you all, my man cave oil filter. I think it'll look good next to my can of R12 Oil Charge.

Was this a lost filter that fell back behind the shelves at Walmart, or found at Goodwill or similar?

Wow, I have never seen a Walmart filter. I remember before Supertch they were selling Tech2000 filters and oil and a few other things. These Walmart filters must have been sold before that.

I was thinking early 80's. maybe somebody has a catalog. I've looked and all I can find is that one video.

Based on the Wal-Mart logo, late 70’s/early 80’s.

^^^ Based on the squiggle line between WAL and MART, looks like 1975-1977.

That is mid to late 1980's as I remember that clear packaging quite well. Super Tech was not a thing yet and the Walmart house brand oil was "Tech 2000"
