Wal-Mart to no longer sell Motorcraft products.

I'll ditto that T-Keith. Tonight there was plenty of 5w30, 10w30, and 10w40, and few new cases were waiting to be shelved. The Fl-820s were all also restocked since my last visit.

I will note this is the only Wal-Mart I'll bother with anymore. The lack of resupply at the Apple Valley Wal-Mart in the motor oils and filters is ridiculous. The Shakopee location is clean and well stocked, every time I visit. That helps me out since the only, and I do mean the only reason I stop by is to get the Rotella T Synthnetic 5w40!

I've been to Apple valley it is bad, Eden Prarie is too. I try to only go to Cambridge, Forest lake and Blaine.

When I am on the road, I like to use Walmart as a rest stop. Use the facilities, a walk thru the oil section to limber up, then leave. I hate using the rest stop with some of the weirdos that show up. At Walmart, the only weirdos are in the oil section.

I was in the local Wally last night and they had the same selection of Motorcraft filters they've had for a while. They also had a new applications guide hanging from one shelf and it had Fram, Super Tech, and Motorcraft in full color right on the front cover...

Why not support a few other local shops, instead of letting them get wiped out by wal-marts everywhere. I cant stand wal-mart, and think they do nothing good for anyone. Saving a few pennies is not worth it to me, and I am pretty cheap and like to save my pennies!

I understand your position, i just support my local gun shops as that is one of my passions. I also buy groceries, blue jeans, and office supplies there. I frankly dont care if the local Albertsons, Old Navy Store, or Office Depot does go out of business.

There was a huge blow up here in Vegas when Wal Mart brought in their Super Centers. Union people stated they wont shop there. Vegas is basically a very pro union town and if the union dont shop there, they arent going to stay in business. Super Centers are packed here!!! and if you look in the parking lot you see lots of cars/trucks with union stickers on them.

I respect your right not to shop whereever you please. Respect mine to shop there...

Just IMHO

Advance Auto's prices on Motorcraft oil filters are close to Wal-Mart's prices:

The FL-1A is $2.98, the FL-820S is $3.68

Those are the only two I use. The FL-820S is a bit more expensive (wasn't it around $3.20 at Wal-Mart? I can't remember) but Wal-Mart was selling the FL-1A for $2.97 last I remember..

I've heard all of you talking about how WalMart was no longer going to carry Motorcraft products. I have pretty much blown this off because up to last week, there was a full supply of API SM Motorcraft oils.

Tonight, I went into WalMart, making my typical trip back to the automotive section, just to find there was absolutely no Motorcraft oil on the shelves. Last week, they were full. Now, it's all SuperTech where the MC used to be. All I can figure is that they must have pulled the stuff off of the shelves. I can't imagine they sold out of all grades that fast.

Still plenty of MC filters

Yeah that cracked me up too! Whats the difference?

I never said that I wouldn't shop there, I just won't set foot inside there

Technically, I'm not buying the stuff from Wally World, I'm buying it from my brother. He's the retailer, WW is the wholesaler. What do I care where he gets the stuff?

Remember how GM used to sweat the details? I don't sweat the details...

Rationalization...isnt it a great thing? LOL

IF he wouldnt have bought the stuff without your "need" you, in effect, bought it from Wal Mart...no matter how you rationalize it! But that's okay...really....us Wal Mart shoppers appriciate it!!

It looked pretty good around here too right up until tonight. I bought the last FL820 filter and the last 4 quarts of Motorcraft 5W-30 blend in the store. They have maybe 20 total filters of about 5 types and a few quarts of 10W-30 and 10W-40 left.

Looks like they're making room for the Mobil EP oils. They have no real shelf space for it right now. I'm sure the filter space will be used by the growing orange wall of doom...

They had 10 bottles of 5-30 sitting in the lube bay, nothing on the shelves at the local one. I asked if i could buy the bottles out there, and got a no.
