Wal-Mart Tech 2000

Anyone know who manufactures Wal-Mart Tech 2000 15W-40 Diesel Motor Oil? I heard it is Quaker State?

Welcome, TomRay. I believe Pennzoil/Quaker State manufactures Supertech's oil, but it uses a different additive package than either of them.

I believe Tech 2000 and Supertech are different...in Canada,i`ve been told Walmart Tech 2000 is supplied by Safety Kleen Corp.which is among other things an oil recycling company...

I think earlier discussion came to the conclusion that the oil was PetroCanada and that Safety Kleen was given the packaging contracts.

It would interesting to see someone do a UOA on the Canadian Walmart stuff since the Petro Canada synthetics are supposed to be pretty decent oils.

the oil is not made by petro-canada. it's made by safety kleen.

Wallyworld's Tech 2000 also comes in 0w-30 and there is no reference of that weight on the PetroCan site -- so, who makes the 0w-30 ????
