My 2012 VP 300-C-A engine is giving me a red triangle alert and alarm every minute after the engine is started. Any way to determine the reason without buying an expensive VP scanner.

I ordered the one from Rinda Technologies like I should have done a year ago. $699 and one laptop I provide. It's the one the marine techs use. Summer boating season is short. Cannot wait for marine mechanics unless really necessary.
