A oil filter I bought from member AKhan87 a while back. Noted but if flash rust on baseplate, so figured I’d cut it open instead of using it. Looks good

I haven't see the black can before. Only the white cans with either the RED label or the RED/BLUE label

Box says it’s a premium oil filter

Looks pretty good Adam but I was not a fan of what looked like rust inside the inlet cap.

Yeah, appears to be glue residue. On the outside of baseplate was where surface rust is

Looks to be a Champ Labs made CQ, pretty sure. The date from the date code likely explains it, 1/21/2015. Who knows how it's been stored, explaining rust. Can't remember exact CQ manufacturer order, but possible this one from before Wix started making them. To current Puro made.

Looks ok to me.
