DARRELL: The additives show nothing remarkable. These are the additives we would expect to find in
a quality engine oil intended for use in a gas engine. The viscosity read in the SAE 40W range when
checked @ 210ºF. This would be normal for a 10W/40, and a littler higher than found for most 10W/40s
we run. The TBN was 8.4. This oil was found to be clean and dry and in serviceable condition.

OK OK! Its Series 2000 AMSOIL 60% 39.9% Schaeffer Supream 7000 Blend and 3 oz of E.P. Moly.

To what volume of the 60:40 S2000 AMSOIL:Schaeffer Supreme 7000 Blend was the 3 oz Schaeffers EP Moly added to?

I dunno but EP Moly doesn't seem to add much moly?

Otherwise, this looks like a fine brew (is the Visc. @ 210ºF of 73.6 cST on the high side? Still appears to be robust though). I still haven't got a handle on viscosity numbers yet.

Check out this UOA I had done on the brew I ran in my car recently for a short OCI and compare.

The E.P. Moly is about 3 oz in a 4 qt. sump. Seem your mix has done you well. Perhaps the Schaeffers add. has bumped up the viscosity too much and may be better to add it as I thought I would at 1500 miles.
