Hi there, i changed both sets of rotors and pads on my BMW 4 series as the old ones were pretty budget and squealed like hell! It’s about 6 weeks later and I’ve just started to get a shimmy / vibration in the pedal in the car when braking at higher speeds (60mph+) the steering wheel doesn’t appear to be vibrating and you can feel it more when sitting in back.

I’ve noticed one of my rear rotors has a black line on it, could this be related to the vibration? I’ve tried to get a bit of sandpaper to see if it comes off but it doesn’t!

Is the rotor cracked and collecting pad material in it. I’m trying to expand the picture to look at the outside edge of the rotor but it makes the picture a little fuzzy. It looks like a fine line continues over the top edge of the rotor.

Pad Transfer, does this car have automatic parking brake?

Imo buy new rotors and buy premium pads. You could buy a flex hone for rotors but that's going to be a bit of work.
