160 pretty high for a 5W-20 oil.
In fact it's only 158 for PU 5W-20.
If you want something higher in an OTC oil you'll have to go with a 0W-20.
I checked the Kendall GT-1 Syn w/Liquid Titanium (5w20)....and it has a VI of 166'
Does a higher VI....translate to a better oil? That has been my understanding....but I could be wrong.
An oil's Viscosity Index is an important attribute of a motor oil. Since all motor oil, even 20wt oil is way heavier than optimum on start-up, high VI oils are lighter on start-up so they have inherent advantage.
