Yep, getting used to Massachusetts license plates takes time. .

It took me all of five seconds to get used to pushing a button instead of fumbling for a key.

I don't know if the 9th gen Malibu has ever really ranked high in publications, but the one my wife and I rented was disliked by both of us. My wife is very indifferent to automobiles, as long as they work as intended. She drives everything in my sig without complaint (well, except for the manual trans in the FRS). Her words on the Malibu were along the lines of "feels like it was designed and built without much thought or care".

In my fleet two cars have keys and three have buttons. With all the confusion some days I don’t feel like getting out of bed.
