I have a '68 Skylark Custom convertible and some of the differences are:
Rear side marker lights are square on '69, round on '68
The three front fender trim lines are vertical on a '69, horizontal on '68
The fact that it has headrests.
'69 had no triangular vent windows.
'69 has the third backup light in the rear bumper.
'69 has the key in the steering column instead of the dashboard.
Plastic part of the grille is different.
I believe in '69 they also dropped the 2-speed ST300 transmission for the TH350.
That is a beautiful example and is obviously treated well. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the correction! I didn't research this at all, just went (incorrectly) with my intuition. I know Chevvies a lot better, and those front side markers screamed "1968" at me. I should have caught at least the headrests and the column-mounted ignition.
