I saw one Accord in my area tonight; 2006-2007 model year, asking $6000; I assume its got 100-120K miles on it;
I did not find the time to take a photo; that car can last a long, long time

Yes, OP if you are ok with an older model the 2006-2007 Accord are absolute tanks. They were easily one of the best vehicles Honda has ever produced. 2.4 + 5 speed auto should go 200K easy.

Yep
I did too right as the body shop took my car.
And my friends owned the shop.
As soon as iit was totaled I called
Gone
Just off here and do you know if they have a timing belt or a timing chain

Since 2003 Honda Accord uses timing chain, so yes it’s a timing chain driven engine

Nice but pricey 2007 EXL model; is it with it I don’t know but this car can hit 300k with a little bit of maintenance; also you pay premium up front but when you try to sell you’ll get premium price back

Thanks
But an 07, For Uber I would have to replace next year. I left a message on a dealers site (and I worked at another of their stores) on a 2010 trade.
2009 Sonata Limited 6000 or a 2010 Honda exl 7900?
Both 100k
2000 cash in my pocket would be nice with the Sonata for repairs (Honda's do break too

Really you can’t have anything older than 2007? When my dad talked to them about doing it they said the only requirement for the vehicle is it has to be newer than a 2000. That was a couple years ago.

Your vehicle can only be so old to be an Uber car. 6000 grand doesn't buy you much nowadays and especially something that's only a few years. old. Find something you are interested in and then look it up on a search engine and find out any problems for that year and model.

Some cities are 10 years. Big cities.
My city is 15 but I want to get 3 years from a car 4 if I can.

If I had it to do all over again I'd definitely get the V6.
I ended up with a Sonata
The honda
On the Subaru dealership website 11pm it was about 2000 higher than budget but It said to click here and fill out for the special Internet price.
I was thinking if they came down 500 or 1000 I would buy it.

At 9am got barraged with calls texts and emails
I got lots of talk, a special VIP appointment (3 hours away) but no price.
I told them I was three hours away and worked for the same dealership in a sister store and that I could close the deal right now with a credit card.
No price.

More calls and texts with nothing.
Finally around 11 AM I got texted a what if we price $2000 higher than the published price.
11,000
799 document fee 200 nitrogen fee ___ fee ____fee
No discount
Called on 90k Sonata Ltd and car faxed
Good
Started driving 45 minutes to it.
Bought it 6000 otd
As I was leaving at 3pm I got another what if we could possibly do-
Still + 1400 over published
Car dealer games

What year and trim did you end up with?

BTW Document fees 800
300 cars a month
240,000 a month
(those those girls in the back room make 10 bucks an hour🥲
They will cut all the profit out so they don’t pay commission but leave the fees in
