I don't think you have a thing to worry about unless you want some exceptionally long OCI with it. This is fine oil. It's just that most BITOG synthetic users prefer Mobil 1 at the same or lower price.
 
One of the best UOA's I've seen for a VR6 was on Valvoline Synpower 5-40. I think awhile ago the Synpower 5w-40 was mostly a PAO, but then Valvoline changed the formulation to mostly Group 3. Maybe the results at the link below were obtained on the older PAO formulation.

I for one had a very good report with the free Syn Power 10/30 but I put about 3 oz of Schaeffer #132 in it. I intend to use GC next but I don't think I would pay $4.50 a qt. for Syn Power.
