valvoline synpower oil additive

I use to use this stuff for a little while seemed to quiet noise motors some. i use to buy it at biglots and now live twenty plus miles from a biglots now so aint go special trip just for that. i was wondering if anyone around here has or does still use it? and what you guys think of it?

Haven't seen it in years, but IIRC it was held in high regard here on the forums. I would say I last saw it circa 2005-2006 in central MA.

Do you mean Valvoline Synpower Oil Treament (VSOT) in 15 oz gold bottle ? I still have 6 bottles, I bought 18-20 bottles several years ago, I use 1 oz per quart at every oil change. It seems to quiet the engine a little, and gas mileage seems to improve by 2-3%.

Searching for it on Ebay, you may find some. Or you can use Lubro Moly MOS2 part number LM2009 in place of VSOT.

VSOT had been discontinued for several years, if there is any available it will be old stock.

PM me if you really like VSOT, I may share my stash and let you have unopened sealed 3-4 bottles. The problem is shipping can be high, check shipping cost from zip 92603 to your zip code on USPS.com for 5-6 lbs.
