Valvoline Oil Filter VO-107

I found a deal where I can get a case of 12 valvoline filters for $2.09 a piece shipped. Are these decent filters?

If so, I may grab some.

The filter in the picture looks like it's from Champ Labs. Sounds like a great price, go for it.

I thought Valvoline filters were now made by Purolator (they have been), but the one pictured is an ecore. 'If' that is current and indicative of all, then much like Firestone and Wally TLE, they are now made by Champ.

Not all Champ filters are ecore, but many >3" diameter are.

fwiw, this would have been better posted on the oil filter board.

Looks like a Champ e-core. Ok for 3000 miles for sure, not sure how much longer after that.

I don't know if the picture is of the actual filter or not. I just got it from the seller.
