I just applied for it the other day. It said up to 8 weeks for a check. My previous experience was a lot less than that about 3 weeks. I don’t have PayPal or Venmo which would be faster.

My rebate submission was accepted so in my case, yes.

The picture on the bottle makes it look like Valvoline leaves a gold coating of varnish on the connecting rods, pistons, and timing chain! Eeep!

That looks like an excellent oil per the VOA. For the 0w-20 was curious what the Noack numbers were? Just to get an idea what the base oil quality is.

I would stick to manufacturers recommended OCI until we see more used oil analyses on this new product line.

What if your manufacturers recommended OCI is 10,000 miles? That is an extended drain in my book.

In my eyes, an extended drain for that application would be anything over that amount, as 10,000 is the "standard" interval that would be covered by the powertrain warranty when the recommended oils are used.
