I agree. It's not bad at all in my opinion.

I agree wemay... It's like a 3-4 out of 10.

10 being exceptionally bad. Like AZjeffs picture bad.

That's perfectly normal on a 214K 2005 LS engine, I've worked on quite a few and have seen worse. Also doing oil changes at the recommended interval with dino oil isn't abuse, it's what the engine is designed to need.

Well I wouldn't call the plugged PCV which likely caused the sludge to be normal, or the smoke that came out on startup before bandaiding it with a catch can.... probably typical with the average persons maintenance. If I had it since new though it would be spotless inside.
