I just changed my valve cover gaskets on my 2006 Pathfinder and wanted to show what the cams looked like at 182k miles

regular 5k oil changes with Mobil 1 5w30 and Nissan filters.

There's no need to run any wizz bang oil; as seen here readily available Mobil 1 on 5k OCIs keeps an engine spotless

And quite frankly M1 on 10k OCIs look just as good.

I'm going to throw this onto the table. Yeah, Mobil 1 is good. One among us said just as good as Amsoil. I wonder though if the results that we see documented here could also be achieved with Warren produced Synthetic oil? Just asking.

That vehicle has done well. Very clean. I hope mine looks that good at those miles. Glad to see the oil was changed at what I would agree is a reasonable OCI.

It could look that good using any conventional oil, but I thought M1 was a wiz bang oil? Certainly a great oil.

I did not. I checked the spark plug tube seals and they all looked good

^^^^^

That what I'm think too Trav.

I don't use amsoil because of their sales and marketing practice, but thought that their oil wasn't bad. Is it really true that this looks better than one running amsoil?
