Using Rodent Smoke Bombs Near Septic Tank. Danger of Explosion ?

I have either a very large gopher or a groundhog making dirt mounts in my backyard. It's too far to run a hose from my car exhaust so I bought some Revenge brand Rodent Smoke Bombs. My concern, other than starting a fire, is that the mounds and burrows seem to be extremely close to my septic tank.
Is there a danger of the smoke bomb igniting methane gas and turning my yard into a smoking crater ?

If so maybe I'll run a garden hose and try and drown the dirty little rodent.

I would think there would be little to no risk. But another alternative is a trap. I used mole traps with good success on both moles and Richardson ground squirrels.

In order for methane gas to be explosive it has to be in a narrow concentration band regarding oxygen. The limits are 5-15% of methane in air.

The concentration above ground will not be high enough and in the septic tank too high

I got rid of voles by hooking up a pipe to a lawn mower engine. I had To buy a flex metal tube, and make an adapter, but worked great.
