Using KYB bump stop or Acura bump stop?

Hey all I’ll be changing the shocks for my 14 rdx and am going with KYB shocks for the rear.

I was originally going to buy NEW oem bump stops from Acura until I realized that the kyb comes with new ones

Am I presumably supposed to use the KYB ones and discard the old oem ones? Or is it good reason to get new Acura bump stops and use them rather then the kyb one

Unless I’m mistaken, I assume you can only pick one bump stop and I also assume the Acura one probably won’t fit the KYB ones

So I guess don’t order new Acura ones and just run the KYB?

IME the KYB ones are as good or better than OEM, and especially very old original ones. Have a look at them though, sometimes they are different lengths than oem?

Thank you. The weather is a bit bad so I was just gonna order the parts first and hope I made the correct decision when they came in.

After comparing the pics I really don’t see how I would use the Acura ones over KYB. Seems like kyb is sized to fit there shock etc

I would say that if you have decided to go with KYBs, which I have found to be excellent, you should use all the parts. Otherwise, go all stock, which is also very defensible. One thing is sure, no shocks of any description will last as long as what the car came with.

You likely won't experience riding on the bump stocks (hopefully) so save some coin since the KYBs you chose come with them included.

Original brand on my Toyota was Kayaba which I think is now known as kyb
