Both UPS and FedEx just dump the package off my front door, and take a calculated risk that it won't get stolen. I think they probably figure that the amount of stolen items are not as expensive as their drivers ringing the door bell and ask for signatures.


Don't blame Fedex/UPS for this. The sender decides whether a signature is required or not.

USPS is not gonna go out of business, but if they did (hypothetically) it would be bad for the country because of decreased competition for Fedex/UPS. I would rather they simply reduce services than go out of business for this reason. M-Tu-Th-Sat delivery would be fine.

But I hate these retarded 2-cent increases every year.
