US made 0W-30 Syntec

After reading the threads regarding GC, I have started looking for my daughter's Maxima. I just bought the last 12 M04 green in one store. I checked another store and all they had was 0W-30 made in the US. The code on the bottom was M013. Am I correct that this is PRE-GC and just some really old stuff that has been around for a while? It seems pretty amazing that this oil had been on the shelf for about four years.

I see tons of that stuff around here! I've yet to see a single quart of CC in all the stores I've checked in Arkansas. They either have no 0w30 at all or the American stuff.

yeah its pre GC. it has the yellow lable right? seen them in my AZ when looking for GC.

Thanks vad, that is the stuff. Amazing, that was one of the higher volume stores I visited, I expected to see Gold if anything.

Guys. I was at a Walmart store in a nearby city and all their 0w30 stock was old stuff and most of it the older square type bottles. Notice that the old 0w30 oil met the API energy conserving low viscosity specs and was A1 rated.

wish the wal marts in the US carried the 0w-30.
