I almost always buy used stuff over new.

Bought a nice used Japanese bike around 2004 at a pawn shop in Fayetteville, NC. In 2014 I was moving from Arizona to Pennsylvania and one of the laborer helping me load the truck seemed way down on his luck and eyed my bike, so I gave it to him.

Could not find a deal on a bike, so ended up buying a used Panama Jack beach cruiser. Looks fun, brutal to ride. Most uncomfortable bike I ever rode. Next door neighbor bought a e-bike, so he sold me his Raleigh for $100. He takes care of his things- purchased with out a test drive. In 2008 I bought my Wife a new Raleigh for her birthday.... just compared them and they have many of the same parts.

Excited to have a decent bike again.

Nice deal $100. I bought a used Gary for $180, in much more ragged condition than that Raleigh. It is my commuter beater.

Yeah, cruiser bikes are for flatland only, anything else is brutal. The Raleigh is in nice shape, a bit small frame but if it fits you good score. If that's a mirror on the right side of the bar you could move it to the left. ;)
