Pizza Delivery Mazda Transforming into a Mazda****?

Well I intended to post earlier than this because of my great results after just 500 miles.

The 1500 miles first change interval came up right before a busy pizza delivery weekend. But I’ve been pulled in so many directions lately. And in this first interval my alternator/voltage regulator when kaput and boiled my battery. I even gave up coffee and bran muffins so I could get additional free time to change my oil and make this post. So the first change was after 1834 miles or at 168498 miles.

Here are the pictures first for those that don’t care to read about my meckanickin’ adventures and verbose commentary.

The leak has stopped in the head seal as you tell by the picture by plugs 1 and 4.
Some shining light brass color and polished steel is starting to show.
The valve cover is the same color maybe a little of the interior texture is gone.

Oil Pools of Grime http://www.auto-rx.com/pics/OilPoolsofGrime.JPG
Grime Before it Time http://www.auto-rx.com/pics/GrimeBeforeItsTime.JPG

Found large pieces of crud by the two valves in the middle. I looked back at the picture of the first post of valve train # 2 pictures and the pool of oil was FULL of this crud.

Chunks ‘O Crud http://www.auto-rx.com/pics/ChunksOCrud.JPG

I pulled the two big chunks o’ crud out as you see on the exhaust shield.
Test or no test I couldn’t leave this in...and then at the same time the little pools of oil were just filled with this grime. I hope I didn’t dislodge any big chunks that might have been dissolved slowly over time with the Auto-Rx. Should I go back in and flush and or suction that out?

I was adding about 2 quarts of oil a week or about every 500 miles. I added only ½ quart at 500 and a full quart at 1200. I did not check the fluid level when I changed the fluid. The oil was a strange brown color, not the usual burnt black. Maybe it’s was all of the Lucus products coming out. So I figured I lost about 2 quarts of oil out of the first cleaning cycle and maybe half of the Auto-Rx. Will this dilute the effectiveness of this first cleaning of Auto-Rx? How about someone with more severe leaking problem?

The transmission now is only leaking a small amount on the side of the engine at some sensor fittings. I going to wait to see if they stop, if not I’ll have to remove a few accessories to get to them to see if they will tighten. I used to check the transmission fluid only when I couldn’t get it or keep it in gear. The transmission now has only slipped on brief occasions and then I tried to make it do it again and couldn’t. On the transmission, I just drained the pan and refilled it for now, but maybe by next weekend I will do the t-tech like flush with copper tubing and the empty bottles. I have an idea! It involves my tool depot and good neighbor Gary and goes something like...”hold these tubes Gary, while I start the car.”

The remaining oil leak appears to come from the front of the engine by/behind the timing belt cover. If those ring seal are like the valve cover seal, and hardened like bakelite, I don’t expect any drastic improvements, nor should I. I have to change the alternator and timing belt, so I’ll change those seal too within the next 2-3000 miles. I might as well do the water pump too while everything is apart.

At 500 miles I noticed a significant improvement in acceleration, at 700 miles it’s WOW! And it’s still powering strong. The power is immediate; the transmission is smooth, tight and strong. I have to watch my speed because it’s zero to 50 mph in an instant without any laboring or clatter. I can tell you that in the affluent area I deliver pizza, no ones likes to have their big Conquistador 3000 SUV passed by a pizza delivery car with peeling and faded paint. I just smile and can’t help but laugh out loud (to myself) at the performance improvement, as this is unbelievable. I’ve never gotten this type of performance improvements in any car while using additives, changing ignition parts, plugs, timing or cleaning fuel injectors. As far as I’m concerned Auto-Rx has already over delivered.

I’m excited and expect continued good results. I’ve been letting my 14 year son drive it home from the school bus drop off in the neighborhood for the past several months. (shhh! He’s underage till the end of February.) He’s noticed a difference and says, “Dad you’re turning the Mazda into a Mazdarati.” Now as the car’s anxious heir apparent, I see a new paint job in the car’s future. Wow! How’s that for teenage car buying savings!

Well after having remarkable engine/transmission results with my Mazdarati within the first 500 miles. I couldn’t wait. I put my Mazdarati’s second cleaning cycle of Auto-Rx product into my ’96 Astro Van engine and trans with 107K miles. I always thought of it as big and lumbering. But after 400 miles the acceleration has improved considerable. I mean noteworthy. Even more so noticeably especially when you are hauling 6 sports participating teenage boys with the air conditioning blowing on high... (Can’t you just smell the musky sweat and testosterones?)

Okay, I have to admit something, the van holds 4 ½ quarts of oil and when I changed it I drained out only 3 quarts of syrup. Ugh! I’m not about to pull the interior apart to take a picture of the valve train but I will pull the oil and transmission pans later.

I feel like I just completed the first couple of steps of the 12 step program for A.A. (Auto Abusers) Hello, My name is Tom and I’m an Auto Abuser.

I ordered an additional 5 bottles to complete my car and to add to the differential of the van and both the power steering.

The only difficulty I see now with Auto-Rx is telling your friends at first. You’re all excited, great and unexpected results, you don’t know where to start, it all sounds too good to be true. You expect them to jump on it like a gator on a poodle and all the time they’re thinking and suspicious you’re going to put some network marketing program in their face. Well I’m sold; my car is fun to drive again. I even washed and vacuumed it. I can’t wait for the final results and pictures. I’ll keep you posted.

P. S. Sincere Thanks to all of those that made thoughtful and kind posts in support of my wife. She just had a clean 6 month cancer check up at Mayo this past Monday. She’s a remarkable and strong women and I’m most fortunate to find such an individual as her as a life partner. I love Debbie.

Found them..... is there anyway to lighten up the pix as I can't see much in the post RX pix ?

Great story on the Mazdaratti metamorphosis. How about a recommendation on another side line. How about buying used, abused cars cheap and running a Auto RX treatment through the engine and you and your son detail the interior and exterior and selling these reconditioned cars at a nice profit?
