I needed new tires for the 05 Trailblazer and ended up getting a great deal on Uniroyal Laredo AWPs. I paid $65 each with lifetime balancing and rotation. Total was around $320. This was @ Walmart. ( I know...Walmart can do my tires...tires only, no oil change. ) The Service Manager let me know each manufacturer gives them a great cost on one line of tires.
I checked online and this seems to be the best deal. I found them for $90 and up

Anyway, who has used these and let me know how you like them.

What are the speed, traction, and treadwear rating on what you got?

I saw some "B" traction truck tires at Walmart a while ago, think it was in 235/75/15.

I had an early Vanagon years ago and Uniroyal had the only tires rated for the beast. Some serious sidewalls were needed. They stood up very well for the load they had to carry.

The dealer that I bought my Silverado 1/2 ton from put a set of Laredo AWP's on it, as a replacement for the factory tires (right before I bought it). I replaced the Laredo tires with a set of Michelin LTX M/S from Sam's.

I felt the Laredos were not a good match for my pickup. The Laredos had a mushy sidewall, which caused the truck to feel floaty and it caused the truck to wander a bit... despite how they were inflated. The snow traction was nothing more than average. I was very disappointed with the tread life of the tires, they were gone at the 30,000 mile mark, despite rotating them every oil change.

I never had to re-balance them. Very little road noise from the tires. I ran over a nail and plugged the tire myself, and never had a problem with that tire once I had repaired it.

They aren't a premium tire, but a quality one. It appears that you did get them for a good price.

I had a set on a 4WD GMC S-15. Very exciting if I was going around a corner and hit a bump. They were okay when new but with a little wear, they became very slippery on wet roads. I would look elsewhere!
