M1 0W40 and triple the oci.

Still have the piston rings. Make those sticky or fill the oil drain holes and then oil consumption goes up.

I would assume that for a lot of vehicles this age it's mostly mail order.

Plenty of parts available both local and Rockauto etc. This platform shared parts with a couple others. Online is alot cheaper of course.

Not to worried about it.. Thinking about replacing it with a 1.8-ME or have a 91 or 97 1.3's setting in two rusted out shells.

Chalk this one up to why I don't do 10K intervals on any oil, and to why I don't use ST. Ever.

I have been doing 10K OCIs for 43 years with various M1 oils and all of my engines have stayed varnish free.
