Listed as pipe pliers, but will get a grip on anything you don't mind having burrs on from their bite-ability. We use them mainly on truck wheel alignment adjustment sleves.

Once threaded adjustment nut on lower handle is adjusted to fit, no squeezing pressure in needed. They grip all by themselves and the more pressure you apply the tighter they grip.

General shape, fit, and finish are similar to Knipex, but these are US made and are totally different in design.

If you want to hold it , and aren't concerned with finish afterward this is the tool!!

I'll have to look into that. Always went with the old standby, VISE GRIP, but since those are now being made in China, I refuse to buy any more of them.

Not the same as vg's. you must exert slight pressure against handle or they'll simply fall off. Unique feature is that the more you exert, the tighter they grip without any handle squeeze by you.

Better see a doctor, or they'll fall off!
