I know that the chances are small, but has anybody expirience with UFI filters?

I just found out about this company by accident. It seems like a big, specialised company and supplies a lot of car makers as OEM.

OEM fuel filters on my Alfa Romeo, and OEM on some Hyundai aswell.

On the Hyundais they are more prone to clogging than others, but that just might be because they are more efficient. The filter on my Alfa Romeo lasts a lot longer than the ones in the Hyundais for example.

UFI is oem on my VW Atlas.

It seems like an okay filter but thin media and it came out wavy. I switched to Korean-made filters.

They were also an OE supplier to a small percentage of GM 1.4/1.8 Ecotecs. Most have filter housings from Hengst.

I use the UFI filters in my Moto Guzzi Motorcycles. I worked at a Moto Guzzi dealer and UFI filters were the filter of choice.

Considering the environment these filters were used ( submersed in oil inside the crankcase )we never had any issues.

Still use them and my bike is a 1976 Moto Guzzi Convert and is still going strong.

This is another case of all products sold by a certain brand not being equal. The OEM UFI filter for my Atlas was made in China and did not fill me with confidence. The Korean made filters (CQ, Microgard, STP) and European filters (Mann, Mahle, Hengst) are much nicer IMHO.
