Divide by two and we have prices 4 years ago, at least in our gulf coats area. Hopefully within a year or a bit longer we'll be back around those prices along with our groceries as well.
Time has not been a good indicator for cheaper fuel costs. The history of fuel has increased in costs of time. There was a time period where Russia & Saudi Arabia was in a "fuel production war" of sorts w/each other several years back. As a result we saw very cheap fuel costs that we thought we'd never see again there for a while.
