But there are some spot deals happening on base oils. Also price increases on base oils are being pulled back. That being said, the recent additive price increase is mostly off setting the price decrease on base oils.

Finish products have started to nose down slightly on the ILMA side. ILMA’s are starting to beat majors at pricing again. So we’ll see how the majors reply.

I was pretty accurate-base oil costs have OUTPACED gold by a sizable margin. This will negatively affect large consumers, hopefully boutique blenders were locked in before the run up. Smart for a "bot".
