Oil Analyzers claims their TBN data is accurate to within +/- 10% and the spectro data on wear metals is accurate to within +/- 2 ppm. From personal experience you have to test oil from the same engine at least 3 times before you have a feel for what's going on ....
I'd guess you might be able to run drain intervals that are perhaps 25%-33% longer with the Series 3000, 5w30 in this application, before you hit the same TBN. I'd test it after 7500 miles, prior to changing oil filters ....
