'Speak German at home' row

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-30380970

Speak English. Best thing that ever happened to my German ancestors. The first generation struggled in English from the documents that survive at the Court House. One second generation great-uncle received a US patent, the written application of which I have. Night and day. Those folks that moved to Germany to join German society will learn German and teach their children. Those there for other reasons will scream discrimination.
