Turn $40 into $400

The big question here is do you want to work for somebody else or work for yourself?

Turn $40 into $400?
Or turn $40 into $40,000,000???

I see jobs postings, stock postings, etc...

Well, if ya wanna turn $40 into $400, put gas in your can and drive to work.
Works every time.

I’ve posted lots of jobs over the past 5 years (trying to help BITOG community).

American economy is booming right now and lots of jobs in many career fields.

Tell us how you got your first 40 mill.
To start with, I worked my @ss off.

1992 started with 2k per year in IRA (max at the time) and max to 401k. Max every year per the limits since. About 15 years in, the gains outperformed the contributions (i.e. my investments determined my wealth).
Rode out 2001, 2009, 2020 while staying fully invested.
Sitting pretty with a stone simple approach while many around me say "how'd you do that?!?".

The trick here is to be both an employee and a business owner simultaneously.

How did you make yours?

All of my customers say the same thing-burger flippers won't even show up for $15+/hour!
Nor should they.
They are in the business of themselves, which is the ultimate American dream.

You as a business owner need to offer them enough to be worth their time. Beat what the market demands and get good employees.
Business 101.

For all the people who have ever said to minimum wage workers that they should just get a better job, well, the current economy is what that looks like.

Burger flippers are flipping the bird to $15/ hour. Now what do you do as a business owner?

Evidence shows that $15/hour is too low.
If it were worth it, workers would have shown up by now.

Your thoughts???

When the extended unemployment runs out, people will start coming back. The rent forgiveness program being over is another big factor.

I know for one thing is we need people badly at my shop. We haven’t had anyone apply except one person in the last month. And he got the job but still with three of us there is no room for breaks. And he hasn’t started yet and he has no experience so will definitely have to be trained.

In the states that have recently refused federal assistance (to the detriment of their citizens) have those open positions experienced a rush of job applicants???

I don't think so.

So now what?
The game has changed fellas.
The world is not what it was 18 months ago.
If you want more workers, pay more money and offer better benefits.
Stone simple.
