Cliffnotes: 2000 Tundra w/100k miles deemed not road worthy by Toyota back in mid August and taken off road due to excessive frame rust.
Update:
They provided my mum a loaner Toyota Camry since Aug and they stated 5 Tundra's in front of her(1-2 weeks/each) + back order of frames held hers up.
She got it back with a shiny new frame. She also had about $1200 of work done with new timing belt/water pump, muffler system, shocks and some other suspension parts. They cut a break on labor as some parts were removed and reinstalled anyway.
I drove it back took to 75 and smoothly/perfectly. She is happy and now has a truck likely to last the next 10 years.
My siblings our happy to have her truck back to "borrow" again.
