Trumpf makes awesome stuff. I have a long term goal of bringing in one of their lasers and press brakes.
They do make cool stuff but I would much rather work on Bystronic. When I was an electrician at John Deere 6 years ago we had both. The Bystronic lasers and press brakes were way easier to work on and troubleshoot. Trumpf goes full German and tries to make everything modular and have you send modules back to them for repair. Trumpf also likes to use multiple com protocols and not fully translate the diagrams.

Never heard of that brand.

I only worked on that stuff for a couple of years so I am only familiar with those two lasers and press brakes along with older Cincinnati press brakes. I have an opinion on CNC machining centers also but that also only has the same amount of experience to base it on though.

Voortman is more common in the steel construction field, less sheetmetal , more heavy plate. They make a gantry mill with plasma cutter machine that is pretty sweet.
