True Group III's?

What are the true group 3 oils on the market?

Valvoline synpower, Pennzoil synthetic, castrol syntec, havoline synthetic, supertech synthetic, quaker state synthetic, exxon superflo synthetic, and I think amsoil xl-7500 are all group 3 oils.

Ken 2 (too funny) you know - those stealth group II oils

Some day I'll run the true group III Amsoil XL - maybe try the new one, 10W-40.

Last .pdf from quackerstate that I read showed that it wasn't a group3. I think that it was mostly a group 4.

yep, Quaker State's most recent PDF shows the base stock to be hydrogenated 1-decene homopolymer, a known PAO.

Shell Rotella T 5W40 Pure Synthetic - I am trying it for the first time. Planning to do a UOA at 7,000 miles (at 6,000 now). My car seems to love it. Hopefully the UOA will back this up.
