Bought the first 4SC equipped lawn equipment I've had on the place in over 20 years. A Troy Built chipper/shreder with a 6.5 Briggs engine. Live outside of town on 2.75 acres surrounded by unused farmland. All the fence rows are overgrown(my neglect). Wife and I plan to clean place up a bit and use trimmings as landscape cover. Could burn, but have to be so carefull it's nerve wracking.

First use today and we were both impressed with this machine! Cuts up to 2" diameter limbs like Sherman went through Georgia! Upper hopper for 1/2" diameter and smaller works exellently for leaves and stems. Lower feed for large limbs seemed dangerous the way it literally jerks stuff inside, till with engine off we both attempted to force our hand in NO WAY. Upper hopper is spaced high enough one would have to jump in to get in harms way.

This unit met all our expectations, plus I felt it ran cheaply enough on less than 2 gallon of fuel for nearly 5 hrs of full throttle use.

Best,

Bob
