Transfer case oil?

Welcome, I have 1994 Mitsubishi Montero SR 3.5 liter DOHC

I have mitsu OEM differential fluid which contains a friction modifier for the diff. Part# 3775610

***Question, Can I use the remaining oil in the Transfer case? The owners manual suggests SAE 75W-90, 75W-85W. The differential fluid gives the aforementioned part number. No Viscosity.

The fluid is in Japanese. I have learned through the years to use OEM parts. Suggestions are welcome.

I would say NO!

You need a GL-4 rated lube for the transfer case.

Nope on the juice mentioned. Yep on the GL-4 75W-90
