I'm posting this question on behalf of my brother who just bought himself a mint low mileage VW Jetta IV GLI with a VR6 24V engine and 6-Speed Transmission. This is a guy who likes to pamper and put nothing but the best in his cars so he wanted to know what would be a good quality Manual Transmission oil to run in his 6-speed VW tranny all year round? We live in eastern Canada so its hot summers and cold winters.

Thanks

Synthetic Manual Transmission and Transaxle Gear Lube (75W-90) API GL-4
Manual Transmission, 02J..........4.3 pints
Differential, Front..........1.7 pints
There is always hard choice between Amsoil, Redline, Lubro Moly and RP.
My choice is in my sig

Moly was added separately.
