Ok, I ain’t giving up yet (see other posts re cabin vibration). The only thing I have not done is replace trans mount. Can’t find a DIY tutorial or video. Has anyone done this? Not sure if I have to drop subframe or just unbolt front engine mount to allow me to lift transmission independent of subframe. Any tips will be appreciated.
I removed nuts from lower captive mount studs and jacked up transmission but transmission and subframe moved together. I probably need at least an inch or two additional clearance between trans and subframe to replace mount.
