Is this the engine that suppose to be the "sludge maker"
I lost the owners manual and dont know what toyota says to use....somebody told me use 0w20?
I bought some 0w 30 Mobil 1 will this help if the engine is a sludge maker?

Absolutely not. Only two engines, from only a couple of years, fit the profile. They are the 1MZ-FE V-6 (97-01 IIRC) and the 5S-FE I-4 that has been out of production since 2001. Your engine is the virtually bullet-proof 2AZ-FE. This engine is "back spec-ed" for 20 wt oils, per Technical Service Bulletin EG018-06. No need to worry about what oil will "help" with sludge -- unless you decide to go far, far beyond the prescribed OCI, you won't have a problem.
