Maybe I'll be able to go over the Bombi pass this year without turning into an 84000lb toboggan on the down side. One of the worst maintained roads I've ever been on in the winter.

They are interesting. State of VT starting experimenting with them last year.
 
Looks like a great thing to use in the middle of nowhere. If it makes the job go faster, great.

A neighbor drives plows for NY State in the winter, dual-wing certified. He says it's a stressful job during the big storms, and that plowing exits with both wings down can be tricky. I'd imagine he'd either love or hate this.
