Small mountain village not too far from us. We shop there when we are near there because they have things the stores in our area don't have.

Southern California is not ready for this kind of snow!

Sorry to hear that Chris. Anytime a small town grocery store is closed, sure puts a burden on the locals. Especially the elderly residents.

We had two small town stores close in the last five years. One burned down and the other just went under in a town of about 1000 people. Now they get to drive 20 miles one way for a decent sized store.

When I was a kid we got a whole bunch of wet heavy snow and everyone was out shoveling off their rooves. I remember a couple people falling - which was quite bad. Does anyone shovel their roof anymore?
