Would there be any better results or some more durabilty by doing nxt2.0 first and then topping it off with Megs yellow 26?

The end result is purely subjective when topping a synthetic with a carnauba, regardless of whose products you use. Having said that I am a huge fan of Meguiar's M21 topped with M26. The new NXT looks to be great stuff and M26 is a proven product. Give it a try!

I have been reading meguiars forums and talked to their support line also. They say the nxt 2.0 is the best wax they offer. #26 is the best carbnuba they offer for people who still love using nuba. Topping off 26 on nxt will not yield any better results. 2 coats of next2.0 10 to 12 hours apart should yield better results.

So last night I washed my car then did scratch x here and there, then polished the car with deep crystal #2 and topped off with nxt2.0 This morning I gave it another coat of nxt 2.0. The best wax in my opinion. For a good 8 years I have only used gold class on my car or nuba 26. For the last 4 years nothing but nxt and now nxt 2.0.

I did try this $50 wax once, but nothing to special.

Typically, you want a sealant first and then a carnauba. Reason being is that the sealant won't bond over a carnauba...it needs a clean surface to bond to. Another reason NXT then #26 is because NXT has cleaners in it (at least version 1.0 did) so if you applied NXT last, you'd possibly be removing #26 that was already on the surface.

I bought some NXT 2.0 and used it on my 2003 Matrix. Pretty good results. Better results came after the second wash a week later and then a follow up with the Meguiars Ultimate Detailer spray. NXT 2.0 produced small beads of water. With the Meg UD on top, the beads were much larger (almost a sheeting action on side panels) which flew off the car during my drive it dry.

Used NXT 2.0 for the first time today by hand. I don't think waxing could get any easier. I'm happy with the shine, I'll let you know if it shines better than NXT after acouple of washes which is why i didn't care for NXT much.

After using Meguiar's NXT for a couple of years on a black car and not liking the way it streaked I tried the new 2.0 on my red car and like the results. Did the clay first, then Meguiar's No 82, then Meguiar's No 3 prior to appling NXT 2.0. After letting the 2.0 cure for a couple of days I topped it with P21S. Deepened up the shine considerably.
Don't know yet how durable this combo will be.
Am waiting for the new Meguiar's No 21 2.0 sealant to hit the market.

You'll be very happy with NXT 2.0 then, as it is very durable! I've been using it since January and the finish still looks fantastic today even after more than two months of brutal winter (with tons of road salt)

Recently applied 2.0 to my new mazda. easy on and easy off. Too early to speak about durability. Seems to be about on par with Duraglass 101. I think Meguir's got it right. Bought at Walmart for about $14/$15.
