Yep, he was using Quaker State as a secondary sponsor since he gets his engines from Hendricks. They went after him since they lost Penske, and Stewart needs the extra money that ExxonMobil will give him.

Good for him. I like Smoke and wish him well.

I thought RCR and M1 might hook up together. I went Indy in 88 and all three Pensky cars were on the front row. Great advertising for Pennzoil.

Not going with RCR does not really surprise me. It would not surprise me to see either Valvoline or Kendall as a co-sponsor on the RCR cars.

I have a lot more respect for Tony since he became an owner. He seemed to grow up pretty quickly at that point.

I agree. He's by far the most down to Earth guy in Nascar racing at the moment.
