Tire gauge - am I being too picky?

I got the gauge back a couple days ago, and it's now reading just within 1 PSI from my other gauges (still on the same side -- lower than the other gauges). That's close enough that I'm fine with it and since it just got calibrated and is a "nicer" gauge than the others I'm willing to believe it's accurate.

Excellent service from the manufacturer (G.H. Meiser) IMO.

If you're picky you could always build your own. From Grainger get a quality gauge with the correct scale, a chuck foot, a check valve, a tee and a bleeder button. put it all together and send it for cal. I have done this, works great and like any other tool that needs to remain precise, don't drop it.

I got a dial gauge 0-60 +/- 1/2 Psi accuracy. Its a "racing" gauge, and it cost about $120. Worth it? Im anal. Using this gauge as a benchmark, I find most gauges inaccurate. The pencil styles are inaccurate, however I find them the most repeatable.
