My wife took my car to the gym, had a bottle of blue Gatorade in her gym bag with the cap not tightened and it leaked out on the rear seat cushion. How can she clean it?

Get a carpet cleaner and use an upholstery adaptor and do the all the seats,
Exactly what I was going to say. Dissolve that Gatorade, and extract the resulting solution.

There is nothing you can spray on there that will make a difference, because the blue dye will remain in the upholstery. You have to spray something on there that dissolves the Gatorade, and then suck out the mixture.

Spray and Wash or Shout/ You can spray it on, brush it in and remove it with a wet cloth.
If that doesn't get it out, I do the same process and remove it with a Bissel.

I'm sure she feels bad about it, but if it was my car, I would clean it myself.
Wifes are for a lifetime.

You need to hit it with something that will rewet the gatoraid then suck it out.
otherwise you will never get that blue dye out with towel blotting.

So a portable carpet spot machine. or even a shop vac.

I'd try using a spray bottle with warm water and shop vac to start off
then when that comes out clear dissolve it with some stain treatment..
such as diluted spray n wash or shout.

Also I'd never let the wife do this... Its a man's job :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: (ok maybe not but I'd still do it myself)

Remember, less soaps, more temperature changes.

Start with hot tap water and a tablespoon of woollite about 1 gallon and pour into a garden sprayer. (that has never had toxic chemicals in it).
Spray seat with mixture. Dont worry, the blistering hot tap water will atomize into a nice warm spray.
Without any delay, vac the water out.
Repeat a few times paying attention to not let the water soak in.
Repeat as many times to lighten and remove the stain.
Let the fabric cool.
Switch to plain warm water with no soap. The warm water will atomize into a luke warm / cool spray for rinsing.
Repeat 2 more times and vac dry.
Blot the seat with a towel and wait 24 hrs.

Usually this does the trick. I rarely need to "scrub" or "Rub" the stains out like that, and I have cleaned auction cars for years. The less chemicals and aggressive scrubbing the better the result. You want to avoid "pilling" or "Burring" the fabric.

Yes wet the seat use a wet shop vac don't use chemicals try 2 -3 time the water will wet the gator aid the vac will extract it open windows let dry
