Hello All, it's been awhile since I've been on here, as some of you know, I had back surgery, last March, and it's been a very slow healing, has left me with permanent nerve damage.
But anyways, some of you may remember, I have a 2013 Ford Edge with the 3.5 L V6 I had the timing chains, water pump and all done almost 2 years ago. I have brought it back to the guy who did the job originally a few times, he put, silicone on all the bolts we retorqued the bolts, "no luck" I put some UV dye in the oil it almost seems like there is a hairline crack.. But anyways I ordered a new one from Ford, along with valve covers, and Motorcraft silicone.. I am wondering if there is anybody, in the Dover Delaware area who is knowledgeable, with these engines, that is capable to do this job.

How much oil are you losing form the timing chain cover? If only a small amount, I'd be tempted to leave it and top-off as needed.

Well, that’s your problem.
I know I have right on other forums, where it's been done inside the vehicle. Either way I have the timing cover, two new valve covers, timing seal, crank bolt all Motorcraft!! I also have Fel-pro intake plenum gasket set. 6 spark plugs and a PCV valve. The plugs are only 3 years old, when a complete tune-up was done but I figured replace them again, while they're in there.. I need somebody competent to do it!!

If you want to make a road trip up this way I could take care of it

I do them without dropping the engine and can seal them up with no leaks 🤷🏻‍♂️. It’s all about prep and patience

Can not can’t…autocorrect sorry

Where is the leak exactly? Any photos?
